These include<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flech\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"flech\">\n<li class=\"detail\">Certain limited service\/economy hotel properties (below 3-diamond rating)<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Most home offices<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Fast food franchises<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Spas<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Gyms<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Direct sales or direct marketing companies<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Companies working remotely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Additionally, CIEE cannot sponsor Interns in the following occupations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flech\">\n<li class=\"detail\">Positions involving direct contact with minors such as au pair or babysitting<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Maids or any other domestic work such as housekeeping<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Medical interns or interns involved in hands-on therapy, counseling, administering treatment or making diagnoses of medical, psychiatric or psychological conditions<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Pharmacy positions directly related to dispensing medication to patients<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Veterinary interns involved in hands-on care of animals<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Teachers or educational instructors<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Temporary or staffing agency employees<\/li>\n<li class=\"detail\">Pilots or crew members on ships or airplanes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some <strong>observation training<\/strong> programs in the sectors listed above can be accepted. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/preprod.parenthese-paris.com\/en\/contact\/\">consult us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that <strong>research scholars<\/strong> require a J-1 visa, category Research Scholar. However, certain research training programs can be accepted within the Intern category, namely if they entail teamwork, constant supervision and a true element of training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Humanitarian missions<\/strong> or internships at NGO&#8217;s such as the United Nations can, under certain circumstances, be undertaken with a tourism visa or ESTA.
